System 4

System 4 was designed to fill a gap in the marketplace for a high quality curved internal directory system. It is a range of four sign types, free-standing, wall mounted, suspended and projecting and is manufactured from a combination of aluminium extrusions, aluminium sheet and ABS plastic.

The versatility of System 4 allows for the provision of bands, panels, paper inserts and Braille and tactile to be used in any combination within the system (excluding the projector). This allows for the system to be a directory one day and a poster holder the following.

The wall mounted and suspended System 4 signs come in standard set widths of 300, 420 (both to suit paper sizes), 600, 750 and 900mm with the minimum height of any sign being 90mm.

Standard free-standing monolith signs are 300mm x 1200mm high and 420mm x 1820mm high, though other widths and heights can be custom built. Each has a 10mm thick aluminium oval base, usually black textured to resist scuffing.

The projecting sign is a standard size of 175 x 160mm landscape with a single fixed panel and features a slide on fixing bracket showing no fixings.

The unique patented gatorbands behind the face bands are a large part of the systems success and maintain a constant flush appearance whatever the combination of panel heights. Face bands for System 4 are set at 30, 40, 45, 60, 90, 120 and 150mm although over 60mm any size can be fabricated.

As well as a combination of bands and paper insert facilities the monolith signs also offer the opportunity for a full height poster facility.
